Meet the Team at C. C. Chiropractic

Dr. Caldwell Emmer-Lovell, D.C., AT

As a third generation chiropractor, Caldwell has known the benefits that chiropractic care offers since birth. He is a 3rd generation chiropractor. Being raised in a family committed to wellness, Caldwell grew up helping his mother and father in their office, often tagging along on many house calls to patients who were unable to make it into the office. It is from his parent’s examples and his childhood experiences that Caldwell has learned the art of providing compassionate care and the art of listening. It wasn’t a rare experience for Caldwell to witness a person coming into the office in pain and leaving with a smile and pain free.

While in school, Caldwell was the recipient of the St. Peter Chanel Award and the Loyd B. Henby award, both recognizing the outstanding commitment, school involvement, and service to the school community that Caldwell has provided.

Caldwell is a Certified Athletic Trainer and currently enjoys a position as an athletic trainer for a local university.

Caldwell specializes in treating sports injuries in people of all ages.

Dr. Mary Jo Emmer-Lovell, FIAMA, Dipl. Med. Ac. (IAMA), D.C.

Dr. Mary Jo discovered the benefits of chiropractic care while recovering from an injury during her years playing semi-pro softball in the early 70’s. Personally knowing the benefits of good chiropractic care compelled Dr. Mary Jo to pursue a B.S. in Human Biology and a D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic from the National Chiropractic College.

Pursuing her commitment to alternative healthcare Dr. Mary Jo has recently completed her certification in Acupuncture to compliment her 27 years of experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic medicine. The combined knowledge of both disciplines gives Dr. Mary Jo an edge in treating patients pain. She also handles a wide range of patients from infants to centenarians.

Dr. Mary Jo is married to a Chiropractor, and a member of our team, Dr. Richard Lovell. Together they have four children and two grandchildren. One of their children, Dr. Caldwell Emmer-Lovell, is also one of the team. So as you can read, this is a family affair.

Dr. Richard A. Lovell, D.C.

Dr. Richard’s entry in to chiropractic care was a natural evolution. His father was a chiropractor in Geauga County. His Mother was a county health nurse for Geauga County. He grew up with wellness. Dr. Richard’s most notable memory of his childhood was time and time again seeing a yard full of cars, tractors, farm equipment, horse & buggies, etc. The family home regularly had a line out the door of families waiting to get treated by his father. “Doc Lovell” was known all over the county.
